When I was going through one of the worst times of my life, the thing that soothed me the most was art restoration and framing videos. This morning, during one of the happiest parts of my life so far, I wrapped myself in a blanket and hit play on this audio.
This is a work of art in and of itself, from the writing, to the acting, the sound design, the edit, to the overall tone. Milo has such a unique gift for storytelling, and I feel so lucky to be one of the many who get to experience it.
Pieces like this remind me why I pursue creative endeavors, and what it’s like through escapism and fantasy to experience emotions I had closed my lone artsy goblin self off to.

Commenting again because I have to say that I wish I could do a podcast analysis on this audio. The storytelling was masterfully done in the first half, establishing a foundation of respect for "her", apologizing for gawking in case that wasn't wanted. Then the breathing and moaning and hushed tones in the second half really drove home that feeling of desperation. People can say what they want but there isn't enough of this brand of desperation on this platform, where there's a pleading sound in the voice but also playfulness and a tentative sense of confidence. Milo, you deserve flowers for this one. 💐

Thank you for this story, Milo. It's one of the sweetest things I ever listened to. I have sets of audios I just listen to again and again and this one is probably my favorite. PS - not sure if you even read these but thought to add - I’ve been enjoying your audios so much since I joined and while I’m sorting through some difficult things in my life. They have been really helping me reconnect with myself and rebuild my confidence so that I’ll be ready when it’s time to pivot away from this safe online fantasy world and into the real world, with real people. 😊
I have also been commenting a lot as I listen in my typical wordy and corny way!! It’s embarrassing because it is so not typical of me 😳 and very school girlish and I’m no school girl haha!!
So I thought quoting some of what you said in this specific audio would be appropriate…
