I listened to the scene portion 3x... It was super sexy but more importantly so incredibly beautiful. I actually got part way in, put down the vibe, and started it back over from that last line in the trailer 🔥 through the end...
This is straight period film, WWII soldier, falling in some quick, deep, passionate relationship in the midst of it all and having to say goodbye knowing you have to leave in the wee hours, and knowing full well you weren't likely to return...and it's giving truly tragic film.. Like in the end he survives and returns to her but she's died, has gotten married, or something.
Gahhh.. I'm such a sap... This whole 2nd half and my brain has me misty eyed.
